Located in Cheyenne, Wyo., Central High School is a three-year senior high school that provides various educational opportunities to the students of Laramie County in the state. It offers classes from grades ten through 12 and enrolls more than 1,200 students. The school is governed by Laramie County School District #1. Its curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, consumer science, physical education and elective options. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes and supports various school events and programs. Central High School is approved by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It also provides various athletic programs, such as football, tennis, volleyball, golf, basketball, soccer and softball. The school has a fully equipped library, a media center and a computer lab.
