As chosen by fellow Washington physicians, Dr. Neimat is honored to have been one of Washingtonian Magazine?s Top Doctors for fourteen consecutive years. Dr. Neimat has had a distinguished career over thirty years in practice in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in the Washington region. He served for five years on the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance, including two years as Chairman of The Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance. Dr. Neimat was one of the first surgeons in the region to perform open heart surgery.
