Its work experience includes all aspects of utility work, including overhead, underground, transmission, telephone, special hot line construction, substations, cable splicing, foundations, horizontal and directional boring, tree trimming and right of way clearing. Some of its customers include the Roanoke Electric Coop, Conectiv, Carolina Power & Light and Aqualon Corporation. The company was founded in 1953 to serve the electrical utility industry. In addition to its corporate headquarters in Chester, Va., C.W. Wright Construction maintains offices in Baltimore, Clarksburg, Md., Tunnelton, W.Va., and Sumter, S.C.
