Mulch Man was contracted by Tractor Supply to fix our log splitter since we purchased the extended warranty. It took him a week to pick it up & an additional 3 weeks until TS or me could get a hold of him. My husband and I called daily, Tractor Supply called and emailed daily & no one at Mulch Man returned a call. We were preparing to report it stolen; finally his wife returned the phone call & they were not going to fix it. It was a carbonator issue and would cost nearly $300 (part $68, & labor $200). My husband is an ASE certified mechanic, its two bolts & a pin to replace a carbonator. We just wanted to purchase the part & Mulch Man refused to sell it because he was not going to make any money on the labor. Granted TS paid him pick up, evaluation & return fees. 5 weeks & still waiting for log splitter to be returned. Be very cautious of Mulch Man, hes difficult to work with, fails to return 20+ phone calls & is very rude when hes not profiting off of you.
