CHESTER RAILWAY STATION is a museum that was named a National Historic Landmark in Jan., 2021. According to the Dept. of the Interior, landmarks are particularly suited to illustrate the history of the United States. The first mountain railroad was built here. There is a 102 year old caboose on the property that is rented out for overnight camping and a hands-on room in the Children's Boxcar.
