Old school barbershop in Greenbrier. John Edwards couldn't get his $400 hair style here (although I'm sure Nancy would take the money), but if you are a regular guy looking for a great place to get a real hair cut from an experience barber, this is the place. I went to the haircut factories for several years before finding the Barber Pole and have been coming here now for a few years. I am a regular customer and am writing this because I want them to stay open for a long time. The atmosphere is great and Captain Jack makes a good cup of coffe to enjoy while you wait. The barbers are all experienced and very personable. For me, the hot lather neck shave is a real treat, something I really missed at the haircut factories. If you miss that hot lather, or have never experience it, it's great and between that and the neck and upper back massage they finish with, I always leave relaxed. So if you are looking for a good hair cut at a fair price, I highly recommend the Barber Pole.
