The year was 1979 when the Southern Auto Group opened its first location in the Hampton Roads area. Today, this massive conglomerate includes 9 core dealerships consisting of ten brands of automobiles, two state-of-the-art Collision Centers, a Preowned Car and Truck Liquidation Outlet and over 500 employees on its payroll. The 9 dealerships are comprised of Southern Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram-Greenbrier with 2 locations in Chesapeake; Southern Buick GMC and Southern Kia-Lynnhaven in Virginia Beach; Southern Volkswagen-Greenbrier in Chesapeake; Southern Buick GMC and Southern Kia in Chesapeake; Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram FIAT (formerly Green Gifford) in Norfolk and Southern Alfa Romeo of Norfolk. Nice individuals, got a great car at an awesome price, got into an accident a couple months later and brought it back to the same shop for servicing, body work and paint job, it was like brand new. best service, i will definitely be coming back in the future.

Came in to look at a car, sales man was HORRIBLE! Barely spoke to us, when he did speak we couldn't hear him, acted like he HATED his job. Was not friendly at all. Went in to have our Car appraised and the guy couldn't get the VIN right,. Then asked us for personal info and when I asked why he became very attitudey with us. So we left. We will take our business else where.
