A board-certified physician assistant with over 15 years' experience, Joyce Lawrence-Koenig, PA-C, MPA, practices at Chesapeake Regional Cardiopulmonary. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. and her Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. Joyce has worked as a hospital-based Physician Assistant in the Cardiology department and as an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant. In her current role she provides inpatient and outpatient care, supervising cardiac testing, consulting and rounding on patients as well as routine and post hospitalization follow-up visits. She is licensed through the Virginia Board of Medicine.
