Great Bridge High School, located in Chesapeake, Va., offers a curriculum for students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students and is affiliated with the Chesapeake City Public Schools. It offers a wide range of subjects, including English, mathematics, algebra, calculus, geometry, earth science, marine biology, anatomy, social studies, special education, career and technical education, fine arts foreign languages and health and physical education. Its fine arts course offering includes lessons in airbrush design, art crafts, ceramics, studio art, art history and drawing. The school also provides various music-related courses that include chamber orchestra, concert band, treble chorus, symphonic band and music theory. Great Bridge High School also offers a variety of sports activities that include baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, softball, gymnastics, field hockey, wrestling, tennis, golf, swimming, cross country, and track and field.
