Crestwood Middle School fosters independent thinking and meets the evolving intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs of students in grades six through eight. The school s guidance department provides assistance with curriculum planning and course selection. It has a media center that includes more than 11,000 book titles, magazine subscriptions, reference books, newspapers and accelerated reader programs. Crestwood Middle School s parent-teacher association organizes fundraising events and volunteer activities. The school s athletics department supports several sports, such as basketball, cheerleading, football, softball, track, volleyball and wrestling. Its curriculum includes math, science, social studies, physical education and English. Located in Chesapeake, Va., Crestwood Middle School is a part of Chesapeake Public Schools.
