Operational for more than 30 years, Cherokee Villa Nursing & Rehab Center is a nursing facility that serves the citizens of Cherokee and surrounding communities in Iowa. The facility provides nursing care and hospice services. It offers physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies. Cherokee Villa Nursing & Rehab Center provides respite and wound care services. The facility offers social and activity programs. Cherokee Villa Nursing & Rehab Center has a National Veteran s Administration Contract and a Regional Veteran s Administration Contract. It provides transportation services for trips to local restaurants and events. Cherokee Villa Nursing & Rehab Center is a part of Care Initiatives, which operates various nursing homes and assisted living and independent living centers in over 55 locations throughout Iowa. Care Initiatives has a partnership with the Iowa Health Care Association.
