Brittany graduated magna cum laude from Samford University School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2002. Brittany Rigsby has received specialized training in dermatology and has been providing a wide range of dermatological services to patients for over 8 years. She can examine, diagnose, treat and prescribe appropriate treatment for patients of all ages. She can perform procedures such as biopsy, cryotherapy and chemical peels. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2002. Brittany Rigsby is nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Society of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. Mrs. Rigsby has participated in research studies for the treatment of Psoriasis and Actinic Keratoses (pre-cancers).
