A Heads Up for those proceeding towards Divorce for the first time with K&G representing your interest. An amicable approach is always the best choice, limits future emotional damages & keeps the legal fees down. Highly recommend that you set suspense dates. If unable to finalize an amicable agreement, go straight to the Family Court. Learned the hard way. After 15 months, there was no amicable agreement in sight but an incurred legal fee with K&G. When we proceeded with the Family Court, took another 15 months of red tape & hurdles to get a Court date. Then 30 days before the court date, received a very unwelcome demand from K&G pay in full or K&G would discontinue their legal representation. K&G were well aware of my finaical situation plus being deployed overseas for this entire ordeal, I had no other choice but to severe relationship. So after 30 months with K&G, had nothing to show except a huge legal debt. So be very careful with K&G. Set expectations & suspense dates

Jon Kurland did a very poor job of preparing my case for trial and of a poor job of presenting my case at trial. He failed to gather appropriate evidence and testimony , did not object timely during the trial and even called me by an incorrect name during testimony - he was totally disinterested in my case from the beginning and tanked it.
