Located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Volunteer Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with an addiction to prescription painkillers, heroin, or other opioids. MAT combines the benefits of medication with counseling to help adults achieve lasting recovery. MAT at Volunteer CTC involves a prescription for methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone to alleviate the physical symptoms of withdrawal and improve patient outcomes. Adults can also participate in individual and group counseling sessions to learn about relapse prevention and address the root causes of their opioid use.
