• Chiropractic Adjustments
  Your first visit to Swann Chiropractic will give you an opportunity to find out how chiropractic care can help you. Dr. Stephen Swann will do a thorough case history and examination to make sure that your condition can be helped through the natural healing of chiropractic adjustments.
• Spinal Adjustments
  Your initial visit will be a no-charge consultation. This will allow you to meet the doctor and the staff with no commitments attached. If Dr. Swann feels that you could benefit from chiropractic care, he will do a complete health history and examination. If you decide to move ahead with chiropractic care, treatment can begin immediately. In-house treatment such as spinal adjustment and conjunction with pulse electromagnetic field therapy. Other natural methods, such as physical rehabilitation or massage therapy may also be recommended.
• Subluxation
  When one or more vertebrae lose their normal position, they interfere with the nerves they were meant to protect. This interference can cause pressure or irritation on the spinal cord and/or on the nerve roots as they pass out of the spinal column. This misalignment of the vertebrae and pinching of the nerves is called a subluxation and is the most common aspect of what doctors call the vertebral subluxation complex. Headache, pain at the base of the skull, pain or numbness of the face, stiffness or loss of normal movement of the neck, neck pain, shoulder, arm and hand problems including pain, numbness and loss of strength and nerve related problems involving eyes, ears, nose and throat. Tension between the shoulders, mid-back pain, pain wrapping around rib cage, problems affecting the heart, lungs, stomach, gall bladder, and other digestive organs. Low back pain, pain in the legs, disc problems, hip pain, groin pain, lower abdominal pain, bladder and bowel problems, many different reproductive problems, and circulation problems in the lower body. Pain at the base of the spine, bladder and bowel problems, hip pain, and sacroiliac pain.

  Dr. Swann explained that pediatric chiropractic care is very effective in treating ear infections. My daughter was in constant pain, and I was ready to try anything. Now that I have seen the results, I can only kick myself for waiting five years to begin her chiropractic care.
• Chiropractic Neurology
  A graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance, Dr. Swann earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Logan College of Chiropractic in 1998. He is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Physician and has a Certificate of Attainment from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Swann actively pursues continuing education to stay current on information regarding chiropractic treatment. His continuing education includes certification in treating extremities and sports-related injury. He has also completed courses in pediatric and prenatal care and chiropractic neurology.
