Dr. Abbas earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. In his practice, Dr Abbas believes in providing patients with proper education and allowing them to be involved in their own medical decision making. He emphasizes preventive medicine and healthy lifestyle choices and partners with patients to help them reach their own personal goals. In his free time, Dr. Abbas enjoys running and playing recreational soccer and tennis. Having grown up in the Mississippi Delta region and earned a Bachelor's of Science degree from Mississippi State University, Dr. Abbas is also an avid fan of Mississippi State athletics.
