Areas served: HomePro Inspection has a normal coverage area of all of Hamilton and Bradley counties in Tennessee and Catoosa and Walker Counties in Georgia. We also frequently travel to Rhea, Sequatchie, Bledsoe, Meigs, McMinn, Marion and Polk Counties in Tennessee along with Dade and Murray Counties in Georgia. Please note that those areas farther outside of Chattanooga will have a mileage fee depending on distance traveled. This fee is calculated into the online scheduler and is shown on the Pricing page of this website. If you cannot attend the inspection: If you live out-of-town or have a hectic work schedule and are unable to attend your home inspection, HomePro Inspection can help make your life easier. Prior to your inspection we can email the Pre-Inspection agreement to you. This agreement can be digitally signed online. Your home inspection report is then sent to you by email the same day the inspection is performed. Why is a Home Inspection so Important? With over 19 years of experience as a professional Home Inspector many clients ask if I have seen it all. You might think so, but the FACT is almost every week and no less than once a month I discover that someone has invented a New Way to do it WRONG! Relax; most needed corrections discovered during a Home Inspection are to prolong the life of the building. Many items reported are for general safety reasons but, in some cases; there are corrections needed to prevent the loss of the structure or for life safety concerns. With advancing technology and engineered building products installation instructions have become quite complicated and are ever changing. I call it job security because the number of weekend warriors and contractors that do not bother to stay current with their trade far exceed the number of homes that I can inspect each year. If more people would read the provided directions I very well could be out of a career, but not to worry, that will not happen any time soon. As a seasoned Home Inspector I do occasionally see great workmanship. I truly appreciate the hard work and impressive results that our area craftsmen take the time to perform. They are few and far between and deserve every ounce of respect and praise for a job well done.
