Dr. Bookout completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattnooga. He received his MD at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his internship and surgical residency through the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, UT Dept of Surgery, Chattanooga, TN. He completed his ENT residency through the University of Tennessee Dept of Otolaryngology, Memphis, Tennessee. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He began practice with Comprehensive Medical Care in Jan of 1993.

Doctor Bookout is very thorough cuts to the point and doesn't leave you guessing. Staff is pleasant and ready to listen. Overall good experience. The waiting room time could be cut down some.

Dr Bookout didn't hesitate to listen to me or spend time answering my questions. My son was extremely comfortable with him and I like that. He has a way with the children and he spoke in a manner that I could understand him not using all of those Dr terms.
