Children's Home/Chambliss Shelter is a nonprofit social welfare organization that works to prevent the dependency, neglect, abuse and delinquency of children. Established informally in 1872, it offers 24-hour child care and medical services. Children's Home/Chambliss Shelter maintains a child care facility and foster home that provides residential services for individuals up to the age of 12. It also provides the Children's Home program, which serves more than 350 children. The organization offers Chambliss Shelter, which is a residential program for children between the ages of 6 and 18 who have been removed from their home for various reasons, such as physical abuse and drugs and alcohol addiction ion Hamilton County in Tennessee. Additionally, its children's home program has achieved license from the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
