Baylor School, located in Chattanooga, Tenn., is a college preparatory, coeducational day and boarding school that offers classes from grades six through 12. Founded in 1893, it enrolls more than 1,100 students and provides a comprehensive education, including core subjects, such as English, social studies, computer science, math and science. In addition to core courses, advanced courses and electives, it offers more than 20 advanced placement courses. It houses more than 100 computers, over 10 laboratories, and advanced computer classrooms. The school sends the entire student body to colleges and universities nationwide, including several Ivy League schools. Its more than 670-acre campus includes facilities, such as a sports complex, indoor and outdoor tennis facilities, climbing wall, fine arts complex, wrestling complex, and a 50-meter pool. Baylor School offers a wide range of activities that meet a variety of individual interests and offers more than 20 sports.
