The Division of Nephrology, part of the University of Virginia, is a medical facility that offers a range of care services. It provides solutions for the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic kidney diseases. The division offers outpatient longitudinal care, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis for more than 700 patients. The Division of Nephrology additionally provides services for the diagnosis and management of electrolyte and acid-base abnormalities and parenchymal and genetic renal diseases. The division offers solutions for hypertension and renal, kidney, pancreas and liver transplantations. It also operates the Nephrology Clinical Research Center. In addition, the Division of Nephrology provides inpatient care consultation services.
