- The Mint Museum in Charlotte boasts two locations. The Mint Museum Uptown located in uptown Charlotte, 500 South Tryon Street, 28202 & the Mint Museum Randolph, 2730 Randolph Road, 28207. The Mint Museum Uptown houses the Mint Museum of Craft + Design and the Mint Museum of Art. Admission: Adults $10, children 5-17 $5, Students and seniors (+65) with ID $8, Children under 5 free

General Info
Located in what was the original branch of the United States Mint, Mint Museum Randolph opened in 1936 in Charlotte’s Eastover neighborhood as the state’s first art museum. Today, in a beautiful park setting, intimate galleries invite visitors to engage with the art of the ancient Americas, ceramics and decorative arts, fashion, European and African art, among other collections.
