OrthoCarolina was founded in 2005 by the merger of Miller Orthopaedic Clinic and Charlotte Orthopedic Specialists, and is located in Charlotte, N.C. It provides the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of injuries and disorders of bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves, tendons and other soft tissues of the body for patients of all ages. It additionally has physicians and specialists to provide the orthopedic care for the families. OrthoCarolina has various specialty centers, including foot and ankle, hand, hip and knee, pediatric, shoulder, elbow, spine and sports medicine center. Its pediatric center specializes in various areas, such as scoliosis and back abnormalities, flat feet, foot deformities, hip problems, cerebral palsy, limb lengthening, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, children's bone and joint problems. It also caters to a wide range of presurgery and postsurgery treatment needs.
