In the 1930's, if you told Bill Simpson, a young actuary working for Sun Life in Montreal, that his son and grandson would someday follow in his footsteps with a career in life insurance, he would have thought you were crazy. Together the Simpsons have over 100 years of experience in Life Insurance industry--something LIS often points to with pride. Bill Senior finished his career in the life insurance business as an actuary ( FSA ). Bill Junior worked for his first 15 years in home offices as an underwriter and vice president of brokerage sales. In 1972 he founded Life Insurance Services. In 1989, Scott joined the firm of which he is now president.
