Dr. Derrick Blackwell prides himself on being compassionate and hard working. He enjoys the personal family connections that he makes in medicine and has a special interest in pediatrics, sports medicine and chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension and asthma. Dr. Blackwell also enjoys making disease prevention and patient education a big part of his practice. He feels blessed to be able to serve his community.
