Community House Middle School provides a range of educational services to students in grades six through eight. It is a part of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and is located in Charlotte, N.C. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as mathematics, music, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and art. It also provides instruction in band, orchestra, choir and foreign languages. The school offers a range of athletic activities, such as cheerleading, football, golf, softball, volleyball, basketball, baseball, soccer and track. Its media center has a collection of fiction and nonfiction books, newspapers, encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines, electronic resources and other reference materials. In addition, the school has a parent-teacher association that sponsors various school programs.
