The Blalock Martial Arts program is run by Sabumnim Lonnie Blalock and features training for both children and adults in self defense, weapons, focus, self discipline / self control, cardio, and flexibility all through traditional combat ITF Taekwondo. Sabumnim Blalock was trained by Two-Time World Champion Master Belvin G. Eaves. Master Eaves trained in Martial Arts for over 34 years and was a Sixth Dan Master. In 1999 Master Eaves was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Sabumnim Blalock trained with Master Eaves for over fourteen years and was made an Instructor at the Belvin Eaves’ Royal Taekwondo Institute. Sabumnim Blalock holds a Third Dan and is currently working towards his Masters Level, training under Eighth Dan Grand Master Robert Summers. KangJang-Nim Summers was instructed by the creator and founder of Taekwondo, Tenth Degree Grand Master General Choi Hong Hi and his number one student, Ninth Degree Grand Master Jong Soo Park. We are are located throughout the Charlotte and surrounding areas, from Indian Land to Tega Cay and Clover to Pineville, Mint Hill and Concord.
