The Carolinas HealthCare Foundation is a philanthropic organization that assists in the advancement of the Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS). Through a range of philanthropic activities, the foundation works closely with CHS in support of new health care programs and services, medical technologies, research, education and facilities. The Carolinas HealthCare Foundation supports special, general, cancer, cardiovascular, CHS facility, education and research, neurosciences, nursing and pediatric funds. Its office of grants and contracts provides the necessary support to faculty and staff interested in preparing competitive proposals for external funding. The foundation supports the Blumenthal Cancer Center, Carolina Kids Health Network, Carolinas Medical Center Education & Research and Carolinas MS Center. The Carolinas HealthCare Foundation is located in Charlotte, N.C.
