The Office of Behavioral Health Services, also known as OBHS, is an organization that serves patients with substance abuse issues and mental illness and developmental disabilities. The organization is responsible for the programmatic oversight of community-based solutions. It operates a children s services division that focuses on consumer and family involvement and community education and awareness. The Office of Behavioral Health Services governs an alcoholism and drug abuse division that serves adults and adolescents. The division also manages block grant funding and facilitates training.
