The Medical Services Bureau is a part of the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources, which offers a variety of community-based programs and health care services. The Medical Services Bureau provides adolescent pregnancy prevention initiatives as well as specialized programs related to AIDS, immunization, family planning, tobacco prevention, birth defects surveillance, early childhood health, and breast and cervical cancer screening. In addition, the bureau offers educational and developmental programs and services with a focus on women and children. It maintains an office in Charleston, W.Va.
