The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority, also known as KCEEA, is a nonprofit organization that offers health care services. Founded in 1977, the authority manages a staff of more than 220 full-time employees. It operates human resources, billing, community relations, supply and communications departments. The authority offers emergency medical services in West Virginia. It provides cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes for the general public. The authority s education department works the American Heart Association and the Department of Labor. The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority maintains an auditorium that can accommodate over 80 individuals for educational and training programs. The authority offers nonemergency and emergency medical transportation services.
