Each year since 1977, Spoleto Festival USA has gathered renowned artists as well as emerging performers in dance, music, opera, and theater for a 17-day artistic celebration in the beloved Southern city of Charleston, South Carolina. It is internationally recognized as America's premier performing arts festival. More than 150 ticketed events fill Charleston's historic theaters, churches, and outdoor spaces—from the historic Dock Street Theatre to the picturesque College of Charleston Cistern Yard—contributing to the rich cultural fabric of the city.
