Soil Consultants, Inc. is a SCDOT-Certified Woman-Owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprise. Since 1951, Soil Consultants, Inc. has been incorporated in the State of South Carolina and providing engineering and testing services throughout the southeast. Soil Consultants, Inc. offers Geotechnical Engineering Services, Construction Materials Testing, Non-Destructive Testing, Environmental Consulting, in addition to Chapter 1 and Chapter 17 Special Inspections as required by the International Building Code. In keeping with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) guidelines, Soil Consultants, Inc., is under the direct supervision of professional engineers and geologists. Our staff members and technicians are certified through the National Institute for Civil Engineering Technologies (NICET), American Concrete Institute (ACI), International Code Council (ICC), Asphalt Institute, American Welding Society (AWS), American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), SCDOT and Troxler. Our Construction Materials Laboratory is a certified Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) as well as an Asphalt Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) through National Institute of Standards and Technology. In addition, we hold certifications from the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (SCLLR), the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the United States Navy.
