The Medical University of South Carolina Library acquires, manages and maintains knowledge resources in the biomedical and health sciences areas for faculty members, residents, fellows, students, researchers and the staff of the Medical University of South Carolina. The library has a collection of more than 210,000 items that include over 76,000 books and nearly 17, 500 e-journals. Its facilities include a meeting room and two computer laboratories. The Medical University of South Carolina Library offers a selection of programs, special events and classes throughout the year. Its database has information on several subjects, such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, education, allied health and basic sciences. The library is located in Charleston, S.C.
