General Info

Dr. Barbara Head joined MUSC Health's Women's Care as a maternal-fetal medicine specialist in 2017. She completed her undergraduate degree at Davidson College and she completed medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia. She went on to complete a residency in OB/GYN at the Medical University of South Carolina and fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr. Head's interests include preterm birth prevention, multifetal gestation, medical complications of pregnancy, and prenatal diagnosis.
