Lowman Home, located in White Rock, S.C., serves the needs of elderly adults by providing a broad range of retirement living options. As a continuing care retirement community, the institution offers various levels of care, such as independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapy and hospice services. Residents are able to move through the levels of care as their needs change. Lowman Home is run by the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, a nonprofit organization that provides continuing care, retirement living and hospice services. Residents can also choose from a variety of homes and amenities, such as one- to three-bedroom apartments.
