Nicole, I can now travel with peace of mind knowing that my cats (Casey, Missy and Lina) are happy at home. You take such a wonderful care of them. I can relax and enjoy my trip knowing that they are in your loving and capable hands. You take care of the details also of watching my home and getting my mail. I would definitely recommend Happy Pets to anyone looking for a pet sitter. I have contacted Nicole a couple of times to look after my cat while I was away on work trips, and she has been a huge life saver. She is very professional, highly organized, and great with pets. She has been able to come through for me even when I have contacted her very last minute. My cat has been very well cared for with Nicole, and she always stays in touch with anything going on with the cat or the house while I am away. I highly recommend her services to anyone who needs a pet sitter in the area.

During a recent nine day business trip, Nicole at Happy Pets cared for two cats in my home. She is very knowledgeable about animals and my cats took to her right away. When you have to travel, it is a comfort to have someone you can trust to enter your home and care for your pets in your absence. And knowing that that someone can take care of things if something did occur, is a huge relief. Thanks Nicole & Happy Pets!

I cannot tell you enough how thankful I am to Nicole for providing excellent daycare for my puppy. It has been almost 2 months since I started to bring my 8 weeks old beagle puppy (at the time) to Nicole's place on weekdays. She is always so pleasant, trustworthy, helpful and willing to make arrangements for me and my pup. He is so excited (he swings his tail like crazy) when he sees Nicole. Since he started Happy Pets daycare, he behaves better and happier at home too. I wholeheartedly recommend Nicole and Happy Pets service. She is the best. I need more stars to rate how happy I am!

We have been 100% satisfied with Happy Pets since we started going there. Nicole is excellent with dogs of all sizes, including our 40 lb. female boxer mix. Nicole and her family treat our dog as if she was their own (including making arrangements for special sleep habits, administering medication, etc). There is ample space for the dogs to play in the backyard, and Nicole takes the dogs staying with her on plenty of walks. When we take Copper to Nicole's, she recognizes the house right away and is thrilled to be back, and when we pick her up after a stay, she is always exhausted from all the playing and exercise she got. We don't think there is any better praise than that.
Nicole is wonderful and we recommend her wholeheartedly. We have amassed something of a zoo (bearded dragon, budgie, rabbit, fish) and she handles their varied needs with great care and ability. I particularly appreciate her updates during our longer trips, her recommendations, and the way she checks in with us both before and after each trip.

It's never easy to leave my dog, Rocky, for a trip, daytrip, or long shift at work, but it's reassuring to know that Nicole will be there to walk him. From the first time Rocky met Nicole, I could tell he really liked her and that she has a natural gift for caring for animals. I would recommend Happy Pets to anyone looking for a reliable person who truly loves caring for animals.
I would highly recommend Nicole without reservation. We searched for a year for a kennel/minder which Molly (our lab/pointer mix) would be comfortable with. Molly refused to go back to the kennel that she had been going to for 6 years. Molly is totally at home with Nicole, her family and her dogs. It really is a home away from home for her. Nicole is great at keeping me posted through email about Molly's stay. We are delighted that we found "Happy Pets"

I've been very grateful to Nicole who provided a rapid response to my need for dog walking during an illness. Nicole is clearly gifted with a natural ability to engage with animals. She is also kind and prompt in showing up on time. I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone who wants compassionate and responsible care for their beloved critters.

Nicole is a wonderful pet sitter who goes above and beyond the call of duty. After a very traumatic experience with a previous sitter, my husband and I were very reluctant to leave our 2 cats with anyone, but we immediately trusted Nicole. She was more than happy to accommodate our neurotic requests such as sending daily email updates of our cat's activities for reassurance and peace of mind. On one of her visits, Nicole went out of her way and purchased us a new scooper for the litter box because ours was slightly broken and did not expect reimbursement for it either. Nicole has arranged for another sitter to watch our kitties if she was unavailable and the list goes on. I have full confidence in Nicole's level of professionalism, responsibility and genuine love and concern for the animals she cares for. Whenever we return home the kitties are relaxed and comfortable, the litter box is very clean and everything is in order in our home. I could not ask for a better sitter.

There really should be more stars for me to accurately reflect the care and concern Nicole offered my pets and their human. Recently, Nicole cared for my six (yes, six) cats and, despite their cat-like temperaments and personalities, all appreciated her attentions. Nicole even tended their worried human with reassuring reports. When my trip had to be extended, Nicole extended her service with very little notice. You really can't go wrong by calling her: Nicole brings the perfect mix of personal and professional care.
I have a bird (cockatiel) and cat and recently used Happy Pets to look after them when I travelled to the UK for 3 weeks. Nicole impressed me upon first meeting as she was knowledgeable, confident with my pets (birds can be tricky) and professional. I really appreciated the email update while I was on my trip. Happy Pets is aptly named---it was obvious on my return that they had been well looked after. I would recommend her without reservation!
I have met many a pet sitter/dog boarding/dog walkers but very few I would trust with my golden retrievers. We own chinchillas, unusual pets to be sure. As an added complication, they have dental issues that require them to be fed by hand. As a result, it was very difficult for us to feel comfortable traveling, as we could never find someone to capably care for them. Nicole changed this 100%. She is wonderful with our chinchillas, and is extremely thorough and detail-oriented in completing all of the steps in preparing and administering their food. She also cleans up around their cage, so our home is invariably cleaner when we return than when we depart. She is responsible, dependable, and hard-working, and we unhesitatingly recommend her to other exotic pet owners who, like us, have been hesitant to leave their pets in others' care. We so appreciate the freedom that having Nicole on call has given us.
I have been using Happy Pets about 4 days a week as I recover from surgery. Upon first meeting Nicole, I knew she had a way with dogs, one of my dogs, Lilly Pearl, is very shy of strangers, and yet she went right out with Nicole like they were best friends. Within a few days they were waiting by the door for Nicole to show up, anxious to get out and get their exercise. The only other pet sitter I ever hired barely walked these energetic dogs, so I mentioned to Nicole I wanted them to get exercise. Well she really gives them a good hour workout. I never once worried about their safety, or if Nicole could handle any situation, and actually, my dogs can bark and lunge, acting ferocious with other dogs at times, but not with Nicole, they are now better on leash than I ever had them! I absolutely recommend this bright, energetic, always friendly and smiling lady, who obviously loves animals so much. You could not ask for a better and capable companion for your pet. 10 STARS! Our toy poodle Giacomo loves coming to Nicole's home and extensive, beautifully designed and secure yard--he scampers happily up the driveway and right up to the front door. Nicole looks after him in all the ways I do at home (maybe better!), making sure he gets a good walk, rest time, and playtime with other dogs, and with her lovely children. Giacomo is still a puppy, and Nicole has been wonderful at finding ways to make him comfortable and welcome.

My dog Lilli had a wonderful experience with Nicole. She has a wonderful way with dogs. I also appreciated her flexibility when my flight couldn't get me back into RDU due to snow. She not only took care of my dog, but had the foresight to pick up my dog the night before the snow fell so there would be no chance of her being stranded. I will definitely use "Happy Pets" services again and have no reservations about recommending this pet sitting service to anyone.

We had a great experience with Happy Pets. Nicole is professional and accommodating. Our dogs (two border collies) loved being walked by Nicole and show her lots of affection. We will definitely be repeat customers!
