Eckankar, established in 1965, and located in Chanhassen, Minn., and offers spiritual study programs, public classes, and spiritual seminars around the world. The temple organizes workshops, small group discussions, creative arts, and programs for children, youth, and families. Its various programs include lectures and debates on spiritual, religion and family, values, humanity and other social issues. It has a wide range of books, audiovisual material and folders on spiritualism, soul, and religion and community services. It offers various community services to needy and senior citizens, such as free treatment and medication, and food service. Eckankar also provides special weekend classes to women on family values and raising children. The organization offers its lectures to students and young adults on drugs, alcohol and society.
