"During my training as an anesthesiologist, I gained appreciation for the value of continuity with my patients, which can be difficult to have when you work in the operating room. I chose to specialize in pain medicine because it offers me the opportunity to truly get to know my patients. I value the ability to work together with them over time to formulate the right treatment regimen to get them back into life to the fullest extent possible."
