  We strive to offer the highest quality care for the area’s residents including pediatrics and elderly populations. Dr. Rosemary Geary, MD founded East Valley Dermatology Center in 2003. Dr. Geary founded the practice with a clear vision of the foundation needed to deliver excellent patient care, and has grown the practice to be one of the most well respected Dermatology practices in Arizona. Over the years the practice has grown immensely and the current staff consists of, 4 board-certified dermatologists, 1 board-certified dermatopathologist, 1 board-certified pediatric dermatologist, 1 board-certified in integrative medicine, 3 board-certified mohs surgeons, 1 nurse practitioners, 7 physician assistants, and an aesthetician.

  Amanda Lamanna is a certified Physician Assistant at East Valley Dermatology. She earned her MS-PAS from A.T. Still University in 2011. Throughout her college studies she was awarded the Presidential Scholarship, WICHE scholarship and Still Bright Scholarship. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Amanda has experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care and is thrilled to now be in Dermatology. She lives in Gilbert with her husband, two children and dog. In her spare time, she loves traveling, yoga, dance and gardening.

  A native of Arizona, Julie attended the University of Arizona and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She worked for the state mental health department for the seriously mentally ill crisis department before attending Midwestern University. Graduating in 2000 with a Master’s in Medical Science, she worked in family practice/internal medicine for 4 years. She then found her passion for dermatology and has been working medically and cosmetically in dermatology for since 2006.

  Yuliya has been practicing general dermatology in the Valley since 2008 and has been with East Valley Dermatology Center since 2011. She is trained in general, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. She is a founding/board member of the Arizona Dermatology Physician Assistants Society, as well as an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Phoenix Dermatologic Society.

  Dr. Geary demonstrates a true passion for delivering excellent patient care and shows great compassion to her patients.  Her goal is to help educate patients and families about skin cancer prevention and to provide thorough skin cancer examinations.
• Dermatology
  The links to handouts and different organizations are provided for the patients of East Valley Dermatology Center to use. We caution against their use for self-diagnosis and self-management. Their incorrect implementation might lead to misdiagnosis and unnecessary prolongation or worsening of the disease process (i.e. sole reliance on over-the-counter products for acne when prescription medications are needed to prevent new acne and scarring).
• Acne Treatment
  Tamara is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has continued to provide dermatologic care since 2001. She joined East Valley Dermatology Center in 2008 and provides patient care for all skin conditions including full body skin exams, skin cancer detection and treatment, acne treatment and management, rash, nail and hair disorders. Tamara moved from Michigan to Arizona in 1969, where she later attended Arizona State University earning her bachelor of science in nursing in 1985 and later graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing in 1996. As an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Tamara is able to stay connected with professional networking within the field of dermatology. She also has special interests in cosmetic facial sculpting with fillers including Botox, Juvederm, Voluma and Kybella. It is important for Tamara to make her patients feel good in their own skin.
• Eczema
  Over the years, Dr. Jeffries has gained an interest in genetic skin disease, vascular malformations, eczema, acne and skin cancer in addition to her general dermatology knowledge.  She takes an individualized approach to each patient and uses an integration of medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery and pediatric dermatology.  In the summer of 2015, Dr. Jeffries joined the elite providers at East Valley Dermatology Center and continues to provide excellent patient care.

  Dr. Falsey’s passion for patient care ultimately led to a career in clinical dermatology.  To further his desire to strengthen the field of dermatology, Dr. Falsey is an Associate Professor with the University of Arizona and actively participates in educating medical students and residents both in the clinic and the classroom.  He is also an active member of several societies including the American Academy of Dermatology and Phoenix Dermatologic Society.  Dr. Falsey specializes in complex medical dermatology, cutaneous oncology, cutaneous infections, eczema, psoriasis and dermatologic surgery.   First and foremost however, Dr. Falsey is an advocate for compassionate, patient-centered care.  His number one priority is ensuring that every patient feels they have received the best care each and every time, without exceptions.

  Jacob is a licensed and board certified physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants who now practices medical dermatology. Jacob graduated from PA school in January 2023 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He is a native of Arizona, having graduated from Arizona State University in 2018 with a BS in genetics, cell, and developmental biology. As an active PA, Jacob is now a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Prior to PA school, he worked in emergency medicine as a medical scribe, a nursing assistant in a neonatal ICU, and physical therapy aide in a private practice.
