Chandler Fire is an internationally accredited department that comprises more than 150 line personnel, serving an area of over 70 square miles and a city population of nearly 200,000. Located in Chandler, Ariz., the department has several engine and ladder divisions and offers a wide variety of medical, fire and other related emergency services. It also provides various services through prevention, education and training of personnel and the community. Founded in 1937, Chandler Fire department operates an emergency medical service system in the city that is supported by Southwest Ambulance and the Chandler Regional Hospital. The emergency medical service system offers prehospital emergency care to residents.
