We had a new AC Unit put in by handy air. Within the year the board went on it. It was covered and replaced. We inquired if there were known issues with the brand we had & the owner assured us it was a reliable unit. The employee who showed up to work on the unit went home with the keys to the unit leaving our renters stranded. Again within the year of the replaced board the AC again failed. After numerous days of leaving messages, texting Mark Cox the owner and even messaging him through his Facebook page I received no reply and had to go elsewhere. They claim they guarantee 100% satisfaction, but if they don't take/return your call they never hear of an issues. Don't waste your time with this company!! I would pick no stars if the review would let me.

We recently had our air conditioning unit worked on by Handy Air. LLC. The technicians came late the first day and added coolant saying there must be a leak because of the amount of coolant needed. They couldn't find the leak and said it should cool fine once the system starts to work and cool back down. The next day it still wasn't cooling. The owner came out promised to call the company about the warranty and call us back and then come back out. He never called back and won't answer our messages to reach him. We paid him $212.00 and the system is still not cooling properly.

Yesterday we called another AC company that came out and looked at our unit, but couldn't do anything that day and left us without AC and told us they couldn't do anything until Monday at the earliest. We called Handy Air and they came out within two hours of us calling them. They found a work-around that is allowing our house to be cooled off while parts arrive so they can do the real repair. Next time something breaks I'll definitely be Hnady Air first!

We were dealing with a system that was ridiculously noisy and inefficient. I called out Handy Air, who sent out Marc. He was extremely professional and polite. We decided to replace the system.The technician that they sent out, was a machine. He and his helper knocked the job out quickly, leaving us with a whisper quiet system. I would (and will) recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs

I don't write reviews often but these folks deserve a great one. My daughter recently bought an older condo in Orlando that needed new furnace/AC. My daughter knows nothing about homes so I knew it would be a problem finding a good contractor. I tried 3 contractors based on good web reviews. Handy Air LLC. responded promptly and Marc was the only one that performed a load calculation to size the furnace/AC. The others wanted to replace the existing unit with like-size (it needed to be a half-ton smaller). Handy Air. knew all the rebates available (the other 2 missed an available Progress Energy rebate) and Marc did all the paperwork to submit them. In the end, we got a "cadillac" system from Amana with a lifetime condenser warranty and variable speed fan for the price of the "ford" the others wanted to install. I happened to be in Orlando for the move and the installation was code-book perfect and neat as a pin. The installers arrived on time and were just excellent!! Thank you.

We recently purchased a vacation home in Davenport that needed upgrading. We contacted Handy Air based on thier reviews and it was genuinely a great decision. They completed a complete system installation for us and the communication throughout was excellent. Kris especially did a great job - thank you!

We called Handy Air at around 10pm and one of thier guys arrived within 45 minutes. They fixed our heat and thankfully got us all warm again! Great job.
Handy air was great. They responded quickly to my call and my air condition was fixed immediately. Kris was honest helpful and knowledgable. He did not try to up sell me on anything I did not need. He just fixed the problem and that was it.

These guys spent a lot of time reviewing our entire AC system before providing us with a quotation. They got in our attic and checked out our duct work. We called several larger companies and none of them did this. Handy Air recommended that we went with the more efficient system that qualified for the Federal Tax Credit and thats exactly what we did. We saved over a thousand bucks going with them in addition to the $1500 well get back on our taxes next year. They were professional and clean and we have already recommended them to our neighbors.

Great service and got our A.C back up and running again quickly. Explained everything in detail. Definately would use them again !!
Prompt response, quality work. I would recommend them highly. They easily handled our awkwardly placed attic air conditioning system. Others wouldn't even go up and look at it.

We used Kris and his team for our complete system install. The process was painless and they were both very competitive and attentive to detail. We had several estimates initially and these guys were the only ones who spent time in our attic checking out and reporting on our duct system. Very pleased we chose them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality job at a fair price.

I would recommend these guys without hesitation. They were knowledgeable and thorough. Our ac was fixed last night (Saturday Sept 26th). We called at 6:00pm they arrived at 7:45pm and had it up and running before they left. Great job guys!!
