This was a GREAT bar to go, dance and just have fun. But now it has to be all things to all people. That is hard to live up to most of the time. People don't come out till very late so it never really gets jumping. The music is just played. No real mixing, that made it a great place to go and dance. Radio music is nice for listening. But you need Black artistic funk to keep it jumpin' and people bumpin' - That mix of old and new, black and white, that evolution from Disco to House. Try one night to see if they are still out there, The Dancers...If it worked with the Pied Piper, I know the music can still get them out early and dancing late.
