The Early Learning Program, an academic program at Kenston Forest School, is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services. Its participants include students up to the age of 4 for kindergarten preparation. The program also includes before- and after-school care services for children up to the age of 12. It offers an environment that fosters social growth through cooperative learning. The Early Learning Program emphasizes the development of prewriting, prereading, math and language skills. It is housed in a more than 10,000-square-foot Facility that include a cafeteria, playground, classrooms, administrative offices and open-ended bulletin boards, as well as a library that has various print materials, books and children s art projects.
