General Info
Unleash your body's natural healing potential by treating yourself to a Reflexology session with Heal & Toes Therapeutic Reflexology. Give the gift of relaxation to your sweetheart or deserving loved one. Heal & Toes Therapeutic Reflexology offers hour-long sessions to encourage balance in your body, mind and spirit. Reflexology is a practice in which pressure is applied to the feet to unblock and stimulate energy pathways throughout the body. With its roots in places such as ancient China, and Egypt, it is based on the theory that there is a microcosm of your body on the bottom of your feet. Lorna has practiced locally since 2007. She holds international certification in Reflexology and Meridian Therapy, is certified with the state of Washington and is a member of the Washington Reflexology Association and the Oregon Reflexology Network. Some clients rely on sessions for the deep relaxation and reduction of stress while others focus on its invigorating qualities for improved circulation or pain reduction. Many use Reflexology sessions as part of their ongoing preventative and holistic approach to health. Sessions are by appointment Monday through Thursday. Late and early hours can also be accommodated for an extra fee. One hour session: $60 Reflexology is not a medical treatment, but knowing your medical history can help more fully understand your health and specific complaints. Medical data is used as a reference to gauge progress during ensuing sessions. Reflexology increases your energy flow, which stimulates the healing potential of your body, helping it to heal itself. Reflexology does not treat or diagnose disease but respects all medical care you are receiving. Since 1972, when Lorna was in a near fatal car accident, she has had an interest in natural healing to stay healthy in mind and body. Life is a precious gift to cherish so helping others avoid suffering has been important to her. In the early 1980's Lorna studied Complementary Healing with Dr. Jeffery Bland, Ph.D., of the University of Puget Sound, WA; Dr. Pizzarno, N.D., School of Naturopath, Seattle, WA; and Dr. Wright, M.D., of Kent, WA. Lorna's appreciation for the healing abilities of nature and her compassion for people has led her on a journey toward balance and relaxation to share with others. When not doing Reflexology she and her husband enjoy their organic farm they live on. Lorna looks forward to being part of your holistic health journey.
