From our humble beginning in 1997, with the help of family and friends, Pineywoods Seafood opened its doors. Our first restaurant was about 960 sq. ft. total, including kitchen, tables, and no booths. In May 2000 we moved to our current location, 1003 Hurst Street. Originally, "the Pitt Grill." Pineywoods "for short" has earned its reputation for friendly service, quality, and consistent food. We do this by using quality ingredients and cook everything fresh per order, we fry in 100% canola oil. We use domestics U.S, Farmed raised Catfish, Gulf shrimp and Oysters, Wild Alaskan Salmon, Angus Beef which is hand cut, ground, tenderized, and hand patted daily. We have partnered with Sysco and U.S. Food providing us with excellent products such as Land of Lakes, Daisy, Morrison, Sheila Partin, and Captain Joe, just to name a few.
