Occasionally, surgery can be performed the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day. If you are considering implants, your mouth must be examined thoroughly and your medical and dental history reviewed. If your mouth is not ideal for implants, ways of improving outcome, such as bone grafting, may be recommended. Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Watch out

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed at this office. The surgery was straight forward and went well. However I found the office staff rude, Before the surgery the office staff and I worked out the cost so there would be no surprises later. I paid up front and my insurance took care of the rest. Later I started receiving bills. The office manger insisted I signed a document agreeing to an estimated charge, however when she finally produced the document I had not signed it. After they threatened to turn account over to collections I paid the remaining. This office and their billing practices are not worth a blemish on my credit.
