ABOUT MIAMI VALLEY ASSESSMENTS Miami Valley Assessments (MVA) is the business name of my private practice. The greater-Dayton area [among other areas] commonly is associated with the Miami Valley region, taking its name from the Miami Indian tribes in Ohios early history. MVA is a practice that focuses specifically on conducting psychological evaluations. Although I previously spent many years counseling, currently I do not provide therapy services. Rather, I dedicate my time to a specialized focus in clinical and forensic evaluations. I have been a university professor since 1988, currently serving as professor of psychology at Cedarville University.
