We are The Gem Shop, Inc., a family run business specializing in gem and minerals for 48 years. The Gem Shop is a true lapidary, from the mining of fine agates and jaspers to the cutting of unique designer cabochons. Our world–wide contacts and over 40 years in business have allowed us to gain a vast knowledge of the world’s rock, gem, and lapidary markets. We offer a wide variety of items including bookends, tumbled stone, mineral specimens, geodes, jewelry, polished agate slices, chakra sets, fossils, lamps, educational kid kits, zodiac stones, and more. Come and dig in the rock yard, which has tons of various types of rock in barrels and bins. When the snow obscures the rock yard, our basement remains open with its boxes and bins full of rock. Come see our 8000 lb Arizona petrified wood log which was collected in 1910 from the Petrified Wood Forest in Arizona before it was designated a national park. This specimen stands about 6 feet tall.
