MVP Video Production
General Info
MVP Visual Media Solutions began in October 2002 as Monson Video Productions, named after founder Kirk Monson. The company soon began to evolve from his one-man video business into a multifaceted visual media company with the addition of Jeffrey Jeff Zahrt. The company name soon changed to MVP Studio, then to MVP Visual Media Solutions in 2007. Kirk and Jeff work well together, in part because they have known each other for many years. They met at the University of Northern Iowa when both were Communication majors studying broadcasting. After graduating, Kirk pursued his interest in video production as Jeff entered the corporate world, focusing on executive training. Now, as much as Kirk loves quietly creating behind the camera, Jeff loves being out in front, planning and directing. Their skills and personalities complement rather than compete. As a team, they work with clients to understand the intended end customer. That's how they know what to shoot and how to shoot it, to create a successful product that gets results. Adding to the MVP team, Kirk and Jeff partner with top area talent as needed for each project. It's a matter of knowing what clients need and matching the perfect professional to each job. Pulling in experienced professionals on a project-by-project basis allows MVP to develop strong ties to the best, most focused talent while keeping costs down. Hiring creative experts specifically for each project, rather than having a small crew on the MVP payroll, also allows Kirk and Jeff to hire only those professionals who focus their abilities in specific areas. Project talent can include graphic designers, artists, videographers and web developers/designers ' whatever is needed to get the job done right. Project partners focus on what they do best so Kirk and Jeff can focus on what they do best ' creating an overall video message that targets your intended audience.
